Lest we forget

Lest we forget “the black years of Soviet Jewry,” and “The Night of the Murdered Poets,” when more than a dozen celebrated Soviet Jewish writers and artists were executed by Stalin  on August 12, 1952. Included were writers-poets David Bergelson, Itsik Feffer, Perets Markish, and Leib Kvitko.
