Lest we forget:Today is the 75th anniversary of the German invasion of Russia. Four years and two days after that Nazi invasion, the Soviet Union staged a triumphant victory parade in Red Square after playing a decisive role,along with the Allies, in defeating Germany. Russia suffered nearly 30 million dead, including 1.5 mlllion Jews. About 200,000 Russian Jews died in combat.
